There is no dearth of Packers and Movers in Gurugram, yet most of them fraud. In a recent case, the city transport association has lodged a complaint against hoax moving companies operating in Old-Delhi Gurugram Road. These fake companies use some online portals as a medium to win the trust of the customers. These alleged companies advertise themselves on their online portals and use some reputed portals to dupe their customers. These fake cases were increasingly reported by lodging FIR against them. Therefore, taking an action on these cases, Transporters Welfare Association filed a complaint with Gurugram Police Commissioner that stated:
“These companies take booking by using some online portals in their favor. Once the bookings are taken, these fake Packers and Movers ask for hefty advance from their customers. After grabbing advance these fake movers and packers don’t care to transport the goods to the specified address. Instead of it, these companies sell these goods and dupe their customers.”
Further, Gurugram Transporters welfare association urged the customers to stay aware and check the background of the various online portals before taking their services.
